The Water Ballet program is a special group that often sets the tone (literally) of each summer at the pool! The classes learn to perform both water and land-based dance movement, meeting regularly throughout the summer, in preparation for a season-ending show that culminates at the end of the program. Participation is open to all ages, is for boys and girs - and it is one of the most FUN events at the pool (well, OK, they ALL are terriffic....)!
The groups meet Monday through Friday of the first week to separate the participants into small groups. Beginning in the second week, and for the remainder of the season, each group is then assigned to either Monday/Wednesday practices, OR Tuesday/Thursday practices. All practices are held in the evenings, from June 17th until July 18th, with individual groups assigned to a practice time between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
The Dress Rehearsal for the Water Ballet Show will be on Saturday evening, July 20th.
The Water Ballet Show will be held on Sunday evening, July 21st.
The 2013 Water Ballet Instructors: Sofia Cranley, Luke Landgraf, and Steffenie Williams.
