The Water Aerobics program is extremely popular and is open to all adults, ages 18 and over. It is designed to provide an organized session of aquatic based aerobic activity that can be individualized to meet the needs of each participant.
The classes are held in water of moderate depth, at approximately five feet, and occasionally make use of the diving well for some deep-water activity. The class supports a wide range of ability, and makes use of water belts, pool dumbbells, as well as free-water movement. The class is held on a quiet side of the pool, during our adult swim time, and is usually set to a musical background.
Program Schedule:
June 9th to August 29th Monday – Friday 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
The classes meet Monday through Friday, from June 9th until August 29th. Each class is one-hour long, and is held from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM. The class is taught by instructors with a vast background in water-based aerobic activity.
Registration:
No advanced registration is necessary. You may simply drop-in on the days that work best for your schedule. There is no fee required.
